Flatbread is a dining-out favorite, but you don’t have to go further than your own kitchen to make a yummy flatbread right at home. We’ve provided a topping idea, but the possibilities for dressing up your homemade flatbread are endless! Impress your friends and family or just treat yourself with this delicious and healthy snack.

Red Pepper and Olive Flatbread

One package of Simple Mills Focaccia & Sandwich Bread mix

One red bell pepper cubed

¼ c sliced olives (deliciously fresh from the Whole Foods olive bar if possible!) 

Shaved Parmesan

Instructions: 

Preheat oven to 350°. Next, sautée one red pepper (cubed) until the pepper has perfect sear marks or about ten min, flipping often (no oil). Then make two Simple Mills focaccia loaves according to directions and then flatten with a rolling pin or your hands. Before putting in the oven top with sautéed peppers and 1/4 cup sliced olives. Sprinkle with shaved Parmesan and bake for 20 minutes.
