The time has finally arrived for all of you to meet our new product line - FROSTINGS! We know that when it comes time for parties and celebrations, nothing beats a vanilla cake layered with smooth vanilla icing or a chocolate muffin with double the chocolate on top. While we love these decadent combinations, we weren’t a fan of the ingredients and sugar content in some of them which is why we decided to whip up our own!
These aren’t just any frostings though. They’re made with ingredients you’ll truly love (just like the rest of our baking mixes and almond flour crackers). We keep them simple with just 8 ingredients.
- Organic Palm Shortening
- Organic Powdered Sugar
- Organic Arrowroot
- Organic Coconut Oil
- Vanilla Extract
- Organic Rosemary Extract (for freshness)
- Sea Salt
- Monk Fruit Extract
They're gluten-free, gum-free (no funky thickeners!) and non-gmo. Instead of using gums, we use arrowroot to thicken the frosting and then combine it with coconut oil, powdered sugar and palm shortening for that creamy consistency. Our frostings lack any processed sugars but instead include monk fruit extract, a natural sweetener. They have the lowest sugar content on the market standing at 7g per 2 tablespoons, so forgive us if we’re a bit too excited to share it with you!
They're fun for the whole family and can be used in a multitude of ways from these carrot cupcakes to pairing them with strawberries for a quick and easy after-school or mid-day work snack.
If you're baking with your kids we recommend these rainbow covered brownies (shown above). All you need to do is bake our chocolate muffin mix into a brownie pan (as directed on back of box), spread a generous layer of our chocolate frosting on top and sprinkle with naturally-dyed chocolate candies.
