Spicy Avocado Hummus

This spicy Avocado Hummus will bring the heat to your summer parties.


1 avocado
1 15 ounce can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1/2 jalapeno, with seeds for more kick and seedless for a milder hummus, plus more for garnish
2 garlic cloves
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp aquafaba
1/4-1/2 tsp salt
Simple Mills Jalapeno Sprouted Seed Crackers
Olive oil, for garnish
Hemp hearts, for garnish
Black pepper, for garnish


ADD avocado, chickpeas, cilantro, jalapeno, garlic cloves, lemon juice, aquafaba and salt to a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
GARNISH with jalapeno slices, a drizzle of olive oil, hemp hearts and black pepper.
SERVE with Simple Mills Jalapeno Sprouted Seed Crackers.
